Your Role

We are now looking for pipe fitters for our unique production at one of the world's most modern shipyards.

In your role as a pipe fitter, your main tasks will be focused on the manufacturing and assembly of piping systems for new construction, renovation, and maintenance of submarines and surface vessels.

We use welding methods such as TIG and orbital welding. The piping systems involve materials such as stainless steel, copper-nickel, copper, titanium, and non-alloyed materials. This makes the job very varied and provides good opportunities to develop your craftsmanship and professional skills.

Your Profile

Requirements

• High school education in HVAC or equivalent
• Knowledge of reading drawings and schematics as well as good material and additive knowledge
• Basic computer skills

Meritorious

• Experience with hard soldering, TIG welding, and if you hold a welding license.
• Previously processed materials through drilling, threading, bending, and cutting.
• Knowledge of fastening and measurement techniques

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship in specific cases.
